What could my kitten be?

I know, I know!! No picture but I CAN’T GET ONE UP I’M AFRAID SO PLEASE USE YOUR IMAGINATION!! Okay, she looks a bit like a Bengal except she is a classic tabby. Big black area on her back with pale brown around the black, quite large ears and a long body. quite skinny leg and a half round, half pointed head. Big brown/green eyes and light brown rims (like eye-liner) black lips and a long thinnish tail. Her personality i not that playful during the day and more affectionate towards night. She will sleep on your bed ect ect…… likes going out at night and a smooth glossy coat. Black nose and pink pink pink tongue! he is around seven months and quite vocal in the morning… Please, genuine answers… and OH YEAH her mum is a short hair gossy black and white with startling amber eyes and her father is a ong haired fluffy cat… not sure of breeds… Her brother looks NOTHIING like her and neither do the grey or black and white sisters. SE IS UNIQUE!! Please be nice.

Lucky. She is lucky to have a person like you to love her.

Sounds like a Calico, or a variation.

She sounds like a mix breed. My cat is a lot like yours, if I interpreted your description right, and my cat is a tabby. It’s funny, cause my other cat, Kong, is big and black and has loads of hair and his sister looked just like him, but his brother, completely different. She is probably a tabby. So cute:)

For one thing, a cat can give birth to kittens which each have a different father. So siblings do not necessarily look similar. In fact true twins are quite rare.

From your description, I would bet your vet would have her listed as DSH, brown tabby. There are various patterns for a tabby, but your indication of the pale brown color indicates she is a brown tabby. DSH means domestic short hair, meaning of mixed breed.

However, she can give all the unconditional love that any kitty can give, and she seems special for you. And that is what really counts, doesn’t it?

More then likely you have a Brown Classic Tabby domestic shorthair cat. Cats that are allowed outside can and do breed to more then one male. It’s very possible the brothers/sisters of your cat have a different father.

She isn’t anything. She’s a domestic cat of no particular breed just like over 97% of the cats on this entire planet. Colour is Brown Classic Tabby.
