I have two adorable kittens that are five months old. I was keeping them in the house, but my mother decided to put them outside in a large dog cage because my female kitten kept soiling the carpets in our house. I want to let them out of the cage, but I am afraid that they will run away. I’m also afraid that they may come in contact with a rabid animal.
I’m in college, and unfortunately, I have a lot of expenses, plus I haven’t started working on my new job yet. Therefore, I don’t have any money to give them their shots..yet. I plan to give them their shots some time this month though.
So will my kittens run away by me keeping them in the cage? Will they wonder off and never come back? I’m praying that they don’t run away. They are a great joy to me.
****By the way, I do let them come in the house occasionally and play. I have a special room for them to go in everytime they come in. Sometimes I just let them roam around the house or they spend the night. But most of the time, they are in the cage****
I would appreciate sound advise and no rude comments. A person is quick to judge a person’s situation and never walked in his/her shoes.
I want to share what happened 3 days ago, and i want a suggestion on what i should do.
These parents bought a kitten for their 3 year old children just to keep them away i seen the kids throw the kitten at the ground "they live 2 houses down"
so i go to their parents and ask them why buy them kittens just to get killed..?
the parents response – ‘we don’t care if the kitten gets hurt or killed its not our responsibly its the kids’
So while no-one was around i put the kitten in side my house – the parents don’t buy food/water for it cause it ‘cost to much’ it was throwing up most of that day to.
I was curious – i asked neighbors according to them the kids was throwing it at the ground pulling it on leash and putting it in a tree for hours so it woudent escape.
I don’t understand why parents would buy a Animal – and just let 3 years olds kill it..

What are your opinions on the parents/child abuse towards the kitten?
I also might keep this kitten, i have come attached to her – shes very sweet if they do eventually come and ask me about the kitten
Should i tell them she ran away? or offer them money for her?

Just saying – this was 3 days ago she have ate and drunk alot and tooken to the vet – i noticed the abusment towards the cat before it did get servilely hurt.
