My mama cat (Stormy) just had kittens on Saturday morning, and tom cat (Shadow) is very curious about the babies. I’m not sure if he would hurt them or not, so I’m making him keep his distance for now. He is getting neutered Wednesday, will this make him less likely to hurt the kittens? At what age should I let the kittens and Shadow meet? I’m not sure if he’s the father or not, but he may be. By the picture do you think he may be the dad, one of the kittens looks like him.

there’s no need to lecture me about spaying & neutering, I just said my male cat is getting done Wednesday, and not that it matters, the mother can’t be spayed, she has a heart condition that prevents surgery.
They are already all claimed by friends and family, and we’re keeping one
