I have adopted them from the shelter and the workers told me they were Russian blues. Both are now 4 months old. Both had blue eyes. One is a lot softer with now more greenish eyes (jade color is very slightly seen in the inner) and the other one seems like he might have a little longer fur then the other one with yellowish green eyes with a jade in the middle like his brother..So here’s my question. Can cats have accents? Both cats seem like they have Russian accents lol. It sounds like they say: Meow-ccchhhhhhh. The "ccchh" is really enunciated.
Is this normal, as I have never heard another cat do that before???? Here’s another question. I have looked at tons of pictures of Russian blues on google, and same with Korats. I honestly think my kitties look like both, but I heard only Russians have a double coat. How would I be able to tell if they have a double coat?? Here are some pictures =]

They are both male kitties named Harley (bc he purrs so loud you can hear him from the other room) and Gizmo (bc he’s a fatty who likes to cuddle)
So when I move their fur, it looks like the fur under looks kinda like down feathers on a bird (reallly super super soft). Could this be double coat?
