How much longer until the kittens come from the momma?

my cat has passed every sign, from enlarged abdomen to excessive eating to pink-enlarged nipples…. she eats 2 days worth in a day and still wants more, is she supposed to stop this behavior a few days before the arrival? The eating excessively has been going on for a week now, becoming more visible everyday! please give me an estimate and pictures if you could…. Thanks :D D

cats are preg. for 65 days and no they don’t stop eating they may slow down the intake.do you know when she became that way?If so count 65 days from that day and you should expect them then.If a inside cat watch for her to start hiding in small dark places where noone else can get and that might be a sign of her getting ready.Mine always wants me there so she comes and lets me know when it is time and won’t leave me until i go with her.I hope this helps if anymore Q just ask and i will do my best to help.

Well her waters should be breaking around now,and at this stage you may notice her tummy moving (the kittens turning for birth)and when the waters break you will notice it as a trail of drips or even come out in a sack, she too will also become extra affectionate and some cats follow their owner’s about this is normal, and when her contactions start her tummy will do a lot of moving and she will become restless and pace about too,so really just provide her with a nice birthing area for her(another clue is she will be nest building looking in to cupboards ect)and be prepared for a long wait as it can take up to an hour between the birth of each one and around 24 hours for the whole litter, and while she is having them be sure to check on her now and again in case she accidentally squashes one while having the next and so on,once they are all her be sure to give the new mum privacy as some cats will reject their young if not left in peace, another thing to do is to place her feeding dish close to her nest area so that she doesn’t have to go far for her food afterwards, as cats tend to rush with their food so they can go back to their babies!
