How do I transfer pictures from microsoft office word to an email?

I found some kitten pictures so I transferred them to my microsoft office word page and was trying to then go from there to send them to my friends and family but when I tried to copy and then paste them to the body of the message I was sending all that would show were the words underneath the pictures and no pictures. Do I need to make a file for them or what and if so how would I go about doing that. Thanks for any help any of you can give me.

This link describes several methods which enable you to extract picture files from a word document: http://www.gmayor.com/extract_images_from_word.htm

After you extracted them you can attach them to your mail.

Tip for the future: whenever you find pics which you want to save to your computer, don’t copy and paste them into a word document, just create a separate folder and save them to that folder. It makes it a little easier to forward them from there…:-)
