I have a 4 month old kitten who is very spoiled, and you can tell she’s already somewhat possessive of me. I recently went to an animal shelter where I found a brother and sister kitten who are 8 weeks old that I would like to adopt. Any ideas on how to introduce two new kittens to an older kitten? She’s not that much older than them, but she is a bit of a drama queen, and was somewhat aggressive to one of my friend’s kittens one time when he brought the kitten to my apartment.

Keep the younger/new kittens in a room away from the resident cat. They can sniff at each other under the door. After a week or so, introduce them, under supervision. Always put the kittens back in their room, allowing the resident cat to her territory. After a couple of weeks just leave the door open so the kittens can come and go as they please. Make sure they have their own litter trays – as in kittens have one and the resident an other.
If you dont have a spare room, get a large crate/cage and set them up in there with everything they need. Have a sheet to put over the cage/crate so that they can feel secure. Even leave one side covered. Set the cage up in a neutral area.
Allow your older cat to go up and check out the kittens. There will be spitting/hissing and the like for a while. Introduce the kittens to the resident under supervision, and let them check each other out. The older cat may swipe, but so long as there are no claws, or fur flying, let them be.
I hope the older cat has been spayed and have the kittens neutered asap (if it isn’t done before you adopt them). It is fine for kittens to be desexed at 8-9 weeks so long as they are of a good weight.
Patience is the catch cry here and it will take a few weeks for all to settle, and they maybe a dust up on occasions. They may all end up sleeping together, being of a close age.
