Did you notice these are in a kill pound and if not rescued in a day or so, they will die?
The reason this pound is closed on Wednesdays is because that’s euthanization day. Thousands of mother’s and babies just like this die every day in a shelter somewhere.

i thinks kittens are nice. Fix one if it is broken or something. Sometimes is espensiv to fix i think if they are stepped on by a burro.

Breeders should breed kittens only. I have two Siamese. I love them. As kittens they were my babies. Still are.

I have just found an advert (UK) for a 6mth old female kitten that is for sale, she HASN’T been spayed!
I am emailing back and forth with the owner trying to get her to spay her before she is rehomed. I have sorted out a voucher that will get her money off the Op but also trying to get it done for free for her (so that i know it will be done) ….I am doing it for the CAT not for the owner…..and now she has just come back to me saying she has another female cat that isnt spayed too !!!!
Those 2 cats will be responsible for over 20 thousand descendants !!
if you have conditions,keep the kittens is a such great experience and because you raise them they can be very loyal friends!

Obviously fix your cats. The world is over populated with unwanted animals such as cats, it is sad. I have rescued 3 strays. I have had cats for about 11 years… even rescued a pregnant ones and had to raise the babies and get them all fixed, but NEVER would I breed a cat. Its awful, they put helpless/homeless cats to sleep.. even if they are perfectly healthy because nobody wants them.
I fix my strays AS SOON as I adopt them.
Kittens are adorable and sweet, but it isn’t fair to multiply or breed them just because they are cute… cats grow up and people don’t want them anymore.

I adore kittens. There really isn’t much of anything that is sweeter. I do, however, believe that people should spay/neuter their pets. The problem today is that there are way too many of them, and they too frequently end up exactly where those adorable ones in your picture are… a shelter. Sadly, shelters can’t adopt them all so the chances are reasonably high that the ones in the picture will be euthanized if they cannot find homes for them. To me, that is very sad… being born only to be killed for lack of a home and space to shelter them. Definitely… spay and neuter your cats!
You make The Cat AND his human cry. While we LOVE adorable kittens, your pets should get fixed. There will always be some stupid pet owner that doesn’t fix their animals and we will always have these poor unfortunate, yet ADORABLE kittens. They were going to put that pretty momma cat down soon! Oh the harsh reality of it all! The Cats older brother, Louie the Large was dumped on the doorstep of a DOG kennel with his 5 litter mates when they were about 4 weeks. At 5 weeks, he came home with our humans and The CAT was adopted (a purebred rescue cat, hmmm) when Louie the Large was 9 months and The Cat was 6 months. They are both in their terrible twos. The thing is, The Cat will never outgrow his terrible twos. But they are both fixed.

There aren’t enough homes for kittens to begin with, so I’d rather have fewer kittens than deal with more kittens that…
a) have maggots ravaging their anus
b) are so undernourished that they can’t hold their heads up
c) turn into tame/feral scared cats that run away or attack people
d) get afflicted with FeLV or FIV and some poor Vet has to euthanize a litter or something

I like kittens,but when they get older they seem to get less playful and not so cute.
Kittens are adorable but people should realize that a quick sugery saves so many lives. Everyday, even as we speak, animals are untinized because they can not find loving homes. There are plenty of places to get your pet fixed if you don’t have the money! If anyone is looking for a best buddy, there are adorable faces that need saving. You’d be suprsied how much of a difference you can make in the life of one animal.
Cats and kittens are so precious, I think people should be more responsible regarding how many or if any litters are had.
Love kittens but, cats are better to take care of after they are fixed.

Some of you know my position on this issue. For those who don’t: I don’t think ANY pets should be allowed to breed UNTIL we get the horrendous overpopulation under control. A lot of people think that it’s "ok" to let their female have a litter, "just one" but the truth is that for every kitten your cat has, another kitten has been handed a death sentence. The reality is that each kitten that you find a home for, could have been a home for a kitten in a shelter, or who will end up becoming a stray or feral. Also, many people don’t realize that pets are MUCH healthier & happier when they are spayed/neutered! They have longer lifespans, & are more good-natured. If you ever think that there isn’t a serious problem with over population, go online, call your shelters, ask your vet. There are animals being killed constantly. In the time it took me to typed this, roughly 10 dogs &/or cats have been put to death. I don’t type fast, but I average 40wpm. Please check this link, for more information. I adore all baby animals and most adult animals.Of course kittens, pups, etc. should be allowed to be born if the owner is VERY sure they can keep them all and properly take care of them.I have 5 adult cats…most I have ever had at one time.All neutered and are NEVER allowed outside…course they don’t WANT to go out there.Most all the cats I’ve had have been adopted from the Humane Society when they were kittens.I DO believe in neutering because there are so MANY kittens born that have to be euthanized.You are saving a life when you adopt one.We have 2 no-kill shelters where I live, though, and they are highly supported by the community.
I think people should have their pets spayed and neutered to stop all the euthanizations that so many animals are subjected to. I do love kittens but I also want them to stay alive.

Oh my goodness. I wish they could open more "no kill" shelters. We have one in the community I live in. The only way an animal is killed is if it is too sick to live an ordinary life span or if it is too aggressive to be kept as a pet. Its so unfortunate that kitties and puppies no older than a day could even be considered for euthanizing.
This totally broke my heart….I shouldn’t have looked if I wasn’t so far away I would take the whole lot…PEOPLE PLEASE FIX YOUR PETS!
I think adorable kittens should be born and distributed to all baby-talking kitten lovers like you and me.

Yes I do love kittens,but I agree that there are far too many of them,and something needs to be done.People should have their pets fixed,and they need to stop throwing their pets away like trash when they tire of them.That way,there wouldn’t be so many beautiful,healthy animals being killed every day. It’s heartbreaking. It’s so sad to think of that lovely cat and her lovely kittens lying cold and dead on a hard steel table,or in a gas chamber packed full of dead animals.
