My 13 week old kitten won’t eat kitten food. We’ve tried wet, moist and dry. The only few brands of cat food he will eat is labeled for cats and kittens. The fat content isn’t as high as in the kitten food but I don’t know how to get him to eat the kitten food. Is this ok since it is labeled for both cats and kittens?

If the first ingredient is meat or meat meal, and it doesn’t contain any corn, by-products, soy, salt, or wheat gluten, then it should be okay for your kitten!!
A great food would be Innova, Innova EVO, California Naturals, Premium Edge, or Chicken Soup for the soul.
Not friskies, Iams, science diet, special kitty, purina, or most anything you see in the grocery store/ petsmart. One great kitten food to try is Maxximum from Wal Mart. It’s cheaper than Innova, etc. but it is comparitively higher-quality.
