I have a 4 months old kitten, it’s got four colours. Orange, grey, black and white. I know of tortoiseshell cats, and calico but they only have three individual colours. And yet mine has four…
Here’s a bunch of pictures of my kitten, can anyone establish what type of kitten mine is, the vet’s said it’s a tabby cross but I don’t think my vet knows much about breed types and things, since she mentioned that tabby is a breed which I’m pretty sure it’s not.

I’ve got more but I think that’s enough for you guys to help me out on this one!

The breed is domestic short hair – which means your every day cat of no particular breed. I love the British term for them – moggies! The color is I believe called Torbie. Tabby isn’t a breed, it’s a color pattern.
Calico
domestic short hair
calico/tabby mix
It is a calico, since it has a mixture of colors. Tabbys are all orange. Is your vet stupid??
its still considered a Calico , I’m pretty sure.
it’s a tabby for sure. and i’m guessing calico, because it has individual "spots" for black, white, and orange. in a tortie combination, the 3 colors would all intermingle and there would be no distinct "spots" of black, white and orange.
uhm i think its a calico.
