I just got these two kittens from the animal shelter. They told me they were both 3 months old. I think that’s wrong, but I don’t know how old they might actually be, can anyone tell based off of the pictures.
My son, holding the one, is 50 lbs.
My hand is an average size female hand.

I can not be 100% sure but i would guess that your black and white is around three months, should weigh in about 2.5 lbs or so. But once again my guess is that the tabby may be at least four months maybe going on five months, weigh this kitty if closer to four months maybe 3.5lbs if closer to five then aroung 4.5-5lbs. But just from the pics I would say the tabby is older than three months.

If you weigh them its 1 lb per month, so if they are 3 lbs, 3 months

The gray one looks about 4 months and the little black one looks about 10-12 weeks. You can call your vet and ask if they can take a look at the teeth at no charge real quick and give you a better idea.

Pixie looks about 6-7 months, Mugzy looks about right for a 3 month old.
they look about 3 1/2 months old about 4.
Its possible that pixie maybe a little older than mugzy, sizewise doesn’t mean much though. My kitten who is now 8 months was about the size of Pixie at 6 months, now Mugzy on the other hand looks about 12 weeks so they one the shelter may have been right about. Also Migzy could have been the runt and is just growing at a slower pace than Pixie

Pixie looks like she could be a few months older than Mugzy. It’s hard to tell though.
about 5 to 6 months for both i think. also you have a lot of pictures of some kid with cows.

anyway……they both look considerably young, you should’ve asked the animal shelter people what breed are those kittens……i think pixie is more than 6 months already
4-6 months, 2nd looks older
I have a male kitten that is 3 months old, and he looks a little bigger compared to the pic with your hand on the kitten…but then again, he is a male, and they are bigger than females..you didn’t say what yours is.
Mugzy is a doll! I’d say about 6-8 weeks. Pixie may be 3 months. They seem very healthy and well cared for.
