when he is laying down his legs stick out behind him and the tend to cross. very rarely, when he tried to crawl he can get one foot to kind of go normal, if that makes sense

Do they always stay like that or is it just if you pick him up? If his legs are normal when he is on the ground and he can crawl/walk around he should be fine, but if they are always crossed you might want to call or go see a vet to see if something is wrong.
Looks like a birth defect to me. At two days old, it’s way to early to know how this will come out. The kitten might be able to develop the muscle tone to be able to walk after a fashion, or he may never have use of the rear legs. If the mom cat is still willing to nurse and care for him, I would leave him be for now. He can probably drag himself it mom to nurse, and at this young, mom is cleaning up after them. The first issue will be if he can use a low litter box by himself or not. If not, he must be placed in the box after every meal, and maybe held upright so he can go. Don’t let yourself get too attached. A cat like that could be extremely difficult to find a home for, and will require a lot of work if you keep it. If he will have too many impairments to be able to find a home, it might be kinder to put him down.
There is a birth defect in cats called cerebellar hypoplasia. It is exactly analogous to cerebral palsy in humans. The body is formed properly, but the motor control section of the brain never developed properly. There is a Yahoo Group, CH Cats, that you might want to get on. The condition is the reverse of what you have, but the care he might need is the same, and these people can give you help and suggestions.
you need to take that kitten to the vet but if you dont have money to pay for the kitten they will kill it but if you dont take it to the vet the poor thing will have to stay like that and be in pain tell the poor thing dies
